The Spitfire seemed to fly a little faster than it did with the 4 blade and 580kv motor. I also noticed that it would go vertical quite easily. With the 4 blade I had to keep the throttle above 70% so that it did not stall in the turns, now I can fly it with the throttle at 55% which gives me longer flight time. Others may have a different result because of the Altitude where they fly. The field where I fly is about 4,000 feet ASL, and the higher and thinner air does have an effect on performance. I am really happy with the Spitfire now, and plan on flying it more often.

I am glad I bought this as a complete system, because the spinner is specifically designed to fit the motor prop adapter as well as the prop. I don't know that you would be able to fit a different prop to the spinner. The combination works very well and seems to be perfectly balanced. I haven't flown it yet, but bench testing it with a 38% charged battery it had a lot of thrust, enough to want it to pull it vertical. I think you could even hand launch this Spitfire easily. I am quite impressed with the quality that Freewing puts into their products. I highly recommend this upgrade, you will be glad you bought it. Thank you Motion for carrying this line of planes and parts, they are some of the best I have in my hanger.
